A coin from 1831 - Recreated With Fire

While metal detecting, I was fortunate enough to uncover an 1831 One Cent coin—a small piece of history that had been buried for nearly two centuries.
To commemorate the find, I decided to recreate the coin in wood using pyrography. In this video, I take the original discovery and turn it into a handmade piece of artwork, preserving the memory of finding it in a completely different way.
There’s something special about finding an object from the past and then creating something by hand to remember the moment.
